Off Road Speedway to pay larger purses at Malvern Bank series races

Off Road Speedway is the first of what may be a number of racetracks that will be paying a larger than normal purse for their Malvern Bank Super Late Model events in 2017. The series which will be running its tenth season in 2017 has continued to grow over the years with increased purses and increased point funds, largely thanks to the efforts of series title sponsor Jay Burdic and the Malvern Bank and the series director Joe Kosiski. As for Off Road Promoter Jerry Pospisil is greatful for the sponsorship.

We want to thank Malvern Bank and TB and Company (Todd Borgmeyer for stepping up to the plate and adding money to the purse for this year’s two series races at Off Road.” says Off Road Speedway Promoter Jerry Pospisil. “Both of our Malvern Bank Super Late Model shows will now pay $2,500 to win, $2,000 for second, $1,500 for third with $450 to start. We will also be starting 22 cars and they will be running 35 lap features.” Dates for Off Road Malvern Bank events are May 27 and September 9.

Bill Leighton, Jr. won last year’s series event at Off Road Speedway on May 21.

Anyone interested in adding monies to any of the 2017 Malvern Bank Super Late Model purses should contact the series office at (402)-342-3453.
