Malvern Bank Championship comes down to the Midwest Fall Brawl

The 2017 Malvern Bank Super Late Model Championship comes down to the last race of the season, the Midwest Fall Brawl at I-80 Speedway on Saturday, September 30. Entering the final series event of the season Tad Pospisil of Norfolk holds a 36 point advantage over defending series champion Kyle Berck of Marquette.

Corey Zeitner is 44 back of Berck, Bill Leighton, Jr is eight back of Zeitner and Jesse Sobbing six behind Leighton.

This year’s Malvern Bank Super Late Models will be celebrating the final race of the series tenth season at the Midwest Fall Brawl with a special purse. The feature purse for the Malvern Bank Series at the Fall Brawl will be; $3,000, 2,000, 1,500, 1,200, 1,000, 900, 800, 700, 650, 600, 575, 550, 525 and the rest of the A feature starters will receive $500.

In addition, all 16 series drivers with perfect attendance this season are guaranteed a starting spot in the feature.. Series rules dictate that if less than 30 cars entered 18 cars + 2 provisionals make the feature, 30 to 39 cars in attendance, 20 cars + 2 provisionals make the feature and 40 or more cars in attendance 22 cars + 2 provisionals make the feature. So by guaranteeing a starting spot for all 16 perfect attendance drivers there could be a large field taking the green in the feature.

2017 series sponsors include: the Malvern Bank, Beyea Custom Headers, Dynamic Drivelines, Helmet Head Design, Home Pride Companies, Hooker Harness, Hoosier Racing Tires, Keiser Wheels, Keyser Manufacturing, Penske Shocks, Performance Bodies, Real Wheels, Roth Racing, Sardeson Racing, Speedway Motors, Swartz Xtreme Race Cars, VP Racing Fuels-Heartland, and Zeitner & Sons, Inc.
