Busy Stretch Awaits MBSLMR Series

Busy Stretch Awaits MBSLMR Series

Though the MBSLMR Series remains idle this week with no races on the schedule the busiest month and a half of racing awaits the drivers, crews, and their cars. 10 races are slated to be run before the end of July which will take the Series to nine different tracks across three different states; South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska.

This stretch of races will include the Series’ first ever visit to the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa for a $3,000 to-win show on Saturday, June 22nd, our return to US 30 Speedway in Columbus as well as Boone County Speedway in Albion. Another race worth noting in this stretch of races will be the Silver Dollar Nationals at the I-80 Speedway, the highest paying race on the Malvern Bank SLMR Series tour; a race that will pay $5,300 to-win.

Through the 7 completed races, Bill Wrich SSS Rookie of the Year Candidate Nick Deal leads the way of the Series standings. Deal holds a 16-point lead over Bill Leighton who is on the hunt for his first Series championship, defending Series champion Kyle Berck rides in third 24 points back of the lead, Ben Schaller and Josh Leonard round out the top 5 in the standings. Filling in spots 6-10 in the standings are Corey Zeitner, Andrew Kosiski, Jason O’Brien, Brian Kosiski, and Brad Perdue.
